Victorian Cast Iron Bracket Lamp with Cranberry Opalescent Glass Shade - 1861. This Victorian cast iron wall-hanging bracket lamp swivels and extends from the wall with a large degree of flexibility. The iron has 100% original finish and beautiful details with no damage at all. The unusual glass fount has a brass filler cap and an embossed patent date of 1861. I've never seen one marked in this way.It rests on the original brass shade holder. The large period blue opalescent-to-cranberry inverted thumbprint shade has a ruffled top and no damage at all. The pink crimped-top chimney is in excellent condition. The entire unit is in perfect condition and very beautiful. DIMENSIONS: 8" tall x 5.5" diameter fount holder.
